The best option is to produce emulsion, which will enhance the consumable of this outstanding VCO globally. Not like any other edible oil, the emulsification of VCO is not an easy task due to high reactivity properties ofVirgin Coconut Oil (VCO) itself. The normal way to perform basic emulsification process will end up with an unstable VCO emulsion. Thanks to our in-house researcher (Dr. Mohd Razip), we have succesfully convert the oily form of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) to a very stable, viscous, thicker and smaller droplet size of micro-emulsion (hereinafter refer to Virgin Coconut Emulsion, VCE), without losing the lauric acid and other beneficial substances.
Our Virgin Coconut Emulsion (VCE) is designed to be miscible and totally dissolved in water and possess the emulsion characteristic. There are many advantages of emulsion-like properties such as its efficiency in drug delivery systems, fast absorption rate (in water and fat medium), able to incorporate in various non-oily products, etc. Our Virgin Coconut Emulsion (VCE) has changed the Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) paradigm of oily consumption to water based usage. The manipulation of this manner has opened an access to the industry players to produce various kind of VCO related health & wellness products, which could lead the increase of Virgin Coconut Oil(VCO) consumption worldwide.
